The Toyota Matrix straddles the line between hatchback, sporty wagon, and crossover SUV. It has elements of all. It’s not quite as big as a typical crossover SUV, but it has more cargo space than a typical hatchback or compact wagon.

In fact, the company refers to it as the Toyota Corolla Matrix. With edgier styling inside and out and four versions to choose from, the Matrix makes a sensible choice for many people.
